Dr Ray Boyapati

I'm a clinician-researcher and entrepreneur working at the intersection of gastroenterology, health technology, and medical education. As a Senior Gastroenterologist at Peninsula Health, I specialise in inflammatory bowel disease and lead one of Victoria's first dedicated intestinal ultrasound services.

As Chief Clinical Officer at Lyrebird Health, I bring clinical rigour to AI-powered clinical documentation — stress-testing AI against real clinical practice daily. I'm also a member of the AIDH Expert Advisory Group for AI, contributing to national policy on artificial intelligence in healthcare.

In 2002, I co-founded MedEntry, now Australia's leading medical school entry preparation company, which has helped over 30,000 students launch careers in medicine across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Ireland.
